American rapper Kanye West has had his online store shut down on Tuesday after it listed a t-shirt with a swastika for sale. The rapper, who now goes by Ye, had his store shut down by the online retail platform Shopify.com soon after the item was publicised. According to a statement to the New York Times by a Shopify spokesperson, West’s site “did not engage in authentic commerce practices and violated our terms so we removed them from Shopify”.
