(NEXSTAR) – There are 45 sets of brothers who are buried in the Normandy American Cemetery, of which 33 are laid side by side. President Theodore Roosevelt’s sons are one of those 33. Brigadier General Theodore Roosevelt Jr. was 56 years old when he led the assault on Utah Beach in France. He survived the invasion and was awarded the Medal of Honor for his leadership.
