Never in my adult life have I come across antisemitism in a major Australian political party – although it is rampant on the left of the British Labour Party. Our greatest general was Jewish, our first Australian-born governor-general was Jewish, and some of our greatest scientists, lawyers, doctors and businessmen have been Jewish.
