A right-wing conspiracy theorist who attacked the husband of former US House Speaker Nancy Pelosi with a hammer has been convicted of a host of state charges, following his conviction in federal court in 2023. A California jury on Friday convicted David DePape of kidnapping, burglary, false imprisonment, threatening the family member of a public official, and dissuading a witness.
