EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (WEAU) - Today the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire is recognizing Holocaust Remembrance Day. The event included a lighting of candles to honor the memory of the millions who died. UWEC students and a professor also shared their experiences researching the Holocaust. This past year they traveled abroad and used ground-penetrating radar to find Holocaust mass burial trenches.
